El Encinitas, CA. In Spanish it means “the Encinitas.” It actually means “Little Oak” in Espanol. Encinitas is located in an area of San Diego known as North County. This city offers an abundance of everything, from superb restaurants to glorious beaches and top rated schools to countless tight knit neighborhoods. Encinitas encompasses five separate areas, each of which have their own spirit and pizzaz: Downtown Encinitas, New Encinitas, Leucadia, Olivenhain, and Cardiff-by-the-Sea. All offer something unique to the community and the area as a whole. At its core, Encinitas is a laid back coastal community filled with a plethora of hard-working creative locals.

Do a little searching and you’re bound to find some of the hidden gems within Encinitas. Manchester Preserve offers some beautiful suburban hiking (you’re not in the middle of nowhere but you feel like you have some room to roam), Betty’s Pie Whole serves up many fresh and scrumptious (you guessed it) pies, and with Stone Steps beach you’ll get some seclusion and privacy underneath some 50+ foot bluffs. With a year-round Mediterranean climate, you're for sure going to get out and enjoy everything this wonderful beach cultured town has on tap.
