Shaun White is one of the most decorated competitive snowboarders in the history of the sport, with 18 Winter X Games medals and two Olympic gold medals to his name. But judging off his activities over the past month, it seems like White might be looking to broaden his interests beyond the slopes and into the business of flipping real estate.
As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Variety and Curbed New York, since the end of March, White has listed three separate properties for sale in San Diego, Los Angeles and New York City, respectively. (none of those cities, you’ll note, are exactly ski towns).
The properties roughly encompass a combined 9,200 square feet and have a combined asking price of around $18 million. So what, exactly, will that sum get you? Let’s take a look at all of the listings.
1300 Neptune Ave., Encinitas, CA 92024: $7,995,000
White’s Encinitas home is perfect for a surfer who has a cool $8 million to spare.
This four bedroom, five bathroom house is listed by Catherine Gilchrist-Colmar of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty and located in beautiful Encinitas, California — just south of White’s hometown of Carlsbad.
The 3,500-square-foot house is located atop a bluff overlooking the scenic Encinitas shoreline, and features private stairs down to the beach as well as a two-car garage, which will come in handy when trying to find parking during those busy summer weekends in North County San Diego.
